AMERICAN and CANADIAN MEMBERSHIP
The Riley Register very much regrets that it is unable to offer full facilities of Riley Register Spares Limited to members residing in the United States of America or
the Dominion of Canada. Despite extensive and strenuous efforts the Register is not able to obtain general insurance cover to trade in these areas. However, our insurers are prepared to consider, on an order by order basis, providing cover for an additional fee which would have to be paid by the purchasing member. Indications so far are that the quotation for this fee is not related to the value of spares purchased, so that small orders may be uneconomic (for the purchaser) but larger orders may be more reasonable.
Various alternatives including purchase by intermediaries have been considered, but none has provided satisfactory indemnity for the Register in the event of any legal action being pursued from USA or Canada.
